Vincent Leroi (1999) Born and raised in Belgium, currently studying photography at KASK school of arts of Ghent. "I capture what my eyes are starring through, what triggers the mind. It's a sort of urge, a sort of obligation to capture it. It keeps the mind calm" he describes when asked about his work. Using movement as a medium of his oeuvre he always is in search of a new form of escapade in undiscovered settings while using traveling as tool of creating his memoir of stills of his constant moving mind. His work depicts a form of extreme two dimensionality through the deficiency of contrast in color, depth and lack of speed in which the viewer get the chance to explore the significance of the spontaneity of composition and get lost in the depth of the flatness of imagery in his portrayal of stories.
